- The Land Registry fee may be slightly higher than quoted, if the property you are buying is unregistered.
- The fees quoted are for a routine, straightforward transaction where there are no title defects. If anything arises which may result in any extra cost, we will always inform you as soon as possible.
- The fees quoted on a sale transaction, additional to the actual sale, also include the work undertaken to settle your estate agents’ invoice on completion, and redeem one mortgage account

During the coronavirus pandemic, the Chancellor announced radical changes to Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT). He introduced temporarily reduced rates for certain residential transactions.
Between the 1st July 2021 and the 30th September 2021, the first £250,000 of the purchase price will be provided with Stamp Duty relief. So, the SDLT actually payable for your individual transaction may vary from the figure quoted above, depending on the completion date and your specific circumstances.
